Kendall Landscape Architects

Patricia Kendall is the founder of Kendall Landscape Architects (KLA), a Pittsburgh-based design company focused on connecting people to nature through landscape design. Her passion for plants and design began early in a family of Architects, Engineers and Gardeners.

Drawing inspiration from travel and local environments, Patty uses plant life as a medium to re-imagine urban landscapes and intimate outdoor spaces.
KLA’s work includes large and small scale installations. She enjoys creating gardens that are cared for with passion. Her unique approach focuses on sculpting interactive outdoor spaces that are both visually and functionally inspiring.

Patty graduated with a BA in Landscape Architecture from Penn State University and went on to work at an Engineering, Architecture, and Landscape Architecture firms. In 1985, KLA was founded and has transformed the landscape in Pittsburgh and surrounding regions one project at a time in collaboration with individuals, teams, and local organizations.
